The Wheel of Fate is turning in favor for a BlazBlue anime

Ever wish that your favorite fighting game would get a TV show to expand on all those epic anime stylized openings in between fight cut scenes? Well guess what? Someone out there agrees with you.



Back in October, game designer Toshimichi Mori of BlazBlue fame posted to his twitter account that he desired to see his popular fighting game series turned into an anime series. This post (originally written in Japanese) was quickly picked up by Arc System Works' European partner Zen United, who translated it:

"Want to make a BlazBlue animation project … seriously … very much … We're casting our nets wide for studios & sponsors. Please come and see Arc any time, anywhere."

The overwhelming fan response was so intense that Zen United responded by launching an official petition to support the conversion of the fighting series into animation. All you have to do to sign the petition is to "Like" this photo. Any comments left on the page will also be passed along to Arc System Works for consideration. We here at Hey! HEY!!
