White Knight Chronicles: Dogma Wars gallops into a February release

Level 5's followup to it's giant knight RPG just got a release date. Dogma Wars, set a thousand years prior to the events of the first game, focuses primarily on the events that make up the mythos of the first two games. Surprisingly, you play as the army that is tasked with taking down the behemoth knights as opposed to controlling them in this psp game. The game is going to be released February 3, 2011.

As was hinted at when Level 5 first announced that it was shrinking the knights to a portable format, Dogma Wars will feature some connectivity with its more over-sized counterparts on the PS3. This connectivity will present itself in the form of avatar importing from the console version and the unlocking of bonus content in Light and Darkness, the 2nd game in the series. The portable iteration will also come with online multiplayer (similar to that of Phantasy Star Portable 2) which will require the use of an online unlock code present in all new copies of the game (similar to EA's Online Pass program). If you somehow import a used copy of the game, it seems you will most likely be out of luck.

Level 5 has yet to announce any plans of releasing White Knight Chronicles: Dogma Wars or its predecessor Light and Darkness in the West.
