Just when I though we were in the center of the holiday gaming news dead zone, Mr. Nomura drops a big one on us.
While speaking with Denkei Playstation, Mr. Nomura revealed that the Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy team would have more characters to... reveal. Most exciting was that the reveals would come from "Super Famicom and there after." Despite giving no hints, this means that we are at least seeing a new character from IV,V or VI. Seeing as Kain has already been announced, I'd wager we won't see another from that game. That leaves me to hope for Celes from VI, though she'd probably play similar to Terra without the transformation. Also, Gogo might be a good choice as he can fulfill both a hero spot for VI and a villain spot for V.
Tetsuya Nomura also spoke of a surprise at the upcoming Square Enix 1st Production Department Premier.
