Considering every sprite based Final Fantasy has a habit of being remade for portable systems I am somewhat shocked that i didn't see this one coming.
Square-Enix has announced a PSP bundle containing both Final Fantasy IV in all its sprite-y glory, as well as it's Wii-Ware sequel The After Years. FFIV will receive a sprucing up in the way of fancier spell graphics and character portraits within chat boxes. No news yet of enhancements to The After Years, however it would seem likely that Square-Enix would seek to keep the aesthetics similar between both games.
The Complete Collection also adds a small side story connecting the two games together, making sure this collection has something for those who have played both of these titles before.
