Laguna Loire, FFVIII's solider turned journalist, is Dissidia's newest playable character according to a spread in Famitsu. He will be the 3rd representitive for the 8th installment of the Final Fantasy series. Details about his play style at the moment are scarce but it is likely that he will be incorporating his machine gun combat style into it.
Famitsu also has details on a new feature: the world map. Rumor is that Famitsu has a screenshot of Lightning's sprite on a world map. However, at the time of this article's publication, we were unable to locate a scan of it. As soon as more details arise on this feature we'll let you know.
