NISA and Imageepoch join forces to bring JRPG label to the West

Late November brought us news of Imageepoch's upcoming focus on their new "JRPG" label, focusing on Japanese style RPG's, naturally. Well, it seems we won't be waiting an entire epoch for news of localization. Seems Denkei Online had the opportunity to interview Ryoei Mikage, CEO of Imageepoch, about his intentions for bringing games from the new label over to the West. He apparently does.

It appears the publisher stepping up to the localization plate is NISA, the company behind the series Disgaea. The relatively high sales behind the Disgaea series seems to be the motivator behind this decision. NISA and Imagepoch's target will be the fans of JRPG's and NISA's already established hardcore fan base. Imageepoch recently announced many titles: Black Rock Shooter: the game, Tale of the Last Promise, and Chevalier Saga Tactics, as well as a few unnamed titles under this label. It is unclear at this time whether the entire label is being localized or only a select few titles.
